Senior Project Manager

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• California Registered Professional Engineer desired but not mandatory
• Minimum of 5 + years of relevant Senior Project Manager experience
• 10 + years relevant experience in the design of commercial, infrastructure or public works projects
• Supervisory knowledge of AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of computer for communications, word documents, spreadsheets, etc.

Duties:

• Assist VP of Civil Engineering in managing local office
• Manage all aspects of design, plan preparation, client coordination and project performance including invoicing
• Solve advanced design tasks using accepted civil engineering practices and Codes
• Establish project controls and be responsible for project planning and staffing
• Interface with clients and public agencies
• Responsible for proposals, change orders, and engineering specifications
• Manage project staff to include design engineers and CAD operators and mentor junior design staff
• Work collaboratively with other Mollenhauer project managers and offices

Successful candidate should possess expertise in land development design, utilities and infrastructure engineering.  Need to have excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Senior Project Designer

• Knowledge of computer use for communications, basic documents, etc.

• Support project managers in construction document production
• Solve basic design tasks using accepted civil engineering practices and Codes
• Interface with design team and public agencies
• Mentor junior design and project assistant staff
• Work collaboratively with other Mollenhauer project design teams and offices

Civil Engineer Designer

This key individual will report to the Project Engineer. Responsible for performing general engineering designs of individual tasks on projects involving plans for the design of street, storm drain, sanitary sewer, public works and other engineering tasks. Prepares preliminary and final engineering drawings, plans and maps; grading plans and plot plans; computes grades, earth quantities and materials estimates. Design Engineer may prepare hydrology, hydraulic and other technical engineering reports.

This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience with at least a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Experience in AutoCAD is preferred. Good organization and coordination skills are necessary to maintain project schedules and budgets. Possess good technical writing and communication skills, capable of writing reports and letters. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

AutoCAD Technician

This individual will report to an immediate supervisor in our civil engineering division. Responsibilities will be to perform Cadd drafting assignments. Candidate should possess knowledge of industry standard drawing practices. Have at least 1 year of experience in using AutoCAD 2000, LDD, Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook. Candidate should be a team player, organized, detail oriented, a self-starter and motivated.

Survey Project Manager

This candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience presently performing at a similar level. Ongoing experience in managing and coordinating all phases of surveying and mapping projects, including control and boundary surveys, research title report analysis, survey certifications, ALTA/ACSM requirements, map preparation process, map approval procedure and processing requirements is required. Ability to develop and maintain good relationships with clients, prepare proposals and budgets, meet deadlines and daily commitments through the effective use of all available resources provided by the firm. A California Land Surveyor license is required, or the ability to obtain one within one year.

As a Survey Project Manager the candidate will need to organize, supervise and review the work of others by possessing excellent organizational, coordination, managerial, verbal communications, and people skills. Candidate must be proficient in using AutoCAD and LDD; should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must posses a valid California driver's license.

Project Surveyor

This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experience using AutoCAD and LDD on surveying and mapping projects. Prepare calculations for ALTA, Boundary and Topographical Surveys. Field Experience a plus. Have a working knowledge of Data Collectors, GPS and Field Note Reduction.

Survey Technician

This candidate should have a minimum of 2 years experience using AutoCAD and LDD. Have experience in researching public records. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Be a team player, organized, detail oriented, self-starter and motivated.
