Strengthening its position among leading surveying and civil
engineering firms in Southern California, Mollenhauer has acquired
RBA Partners, a prominent civil engineering concern.
"Mollenhauer has been a contributor to the architectural and
building communities in metropolitan Los Angeles for more than
eighty years," said Greg Hindson, President and CEO of Mollenhauer.
"We're bringing RBA into the family to increase our capabilities for
both our traditional private sector clientele and for public sector
clients and projects."
RBA Partners has provided civil engineering expertise to a number
of notable Los Angeles projects in recent years, including Our Lady
of Angels Cathedral, the U.S. Bank Tower, the Ronald Reagan Medical
Center at UCLA, the Getty Museum, and numerous projects for the Los
Angeles Unified School District.
John Black, president of RBA, is enthusiastic about the future of
his company with Mollenhauer. “Greg Hindson and I have known each
other for a good many years,” said Black, “and the combination of
RBA’s skills and capabilities with the reputation and resources of
Mollenhauer will provide substantial benefits for all
stakeholders.”
RBA will be joining Mollenhauer on the 40th floor of the Aon
Building at 707 Wilshire Boulevard in downtown Los Angeles.
Mollenhauer has been in business in downtown Los Angeles since 1924,
and has participated in a wide variety of prominent construction
projects in Los Angeles in recent years, including the Walt Disney
Concert Hall, Dodger Stadium, the Galen Center at USC, the Los
Angeles County/USC Medical Center, and the L.A. Live project. RBA is
also the civil engineer for the Flight 93 National Memorial in
Somerset, Pennsylvania.
